When I switched jobs I had this thought that I needed to separate my “professional” voice from my personal one. So the handle I used everywhere was replaced by various “professional” handles.

That was dumb, I’m no longer a dev advocate, and you can now find me at @jonfa.nz 😁

"Social media users are tired of losing their identity and data every time a platform shuts down or pivots. In the ATProto ecosystem, users own their data and identities. Bluesky is the first big example, but a new wave of decentralized social networks is just beginning."

My favorite MCP server, zen, has just become all of a sudden… garbage. Takes up a ton of context for very little additional gain.

Really sad too because it works super well! I’m very bullish on multi-model and/or multi-agent solutions.

Although @anniesexton.com now that I think of it I’m inside of Claude Code so often that none of that really matters. Weird world. The real question is what browser do you use 🙂

I’ve been using ghostty, fish shell, and starship as a prompt. I’ve been quite happy with it. I forget what nerd font I use tbh, but it’s one without ligatures just because that’s my preference.

It’s pretty disappointing to see a community I helped build now have spam accounts posting and no one doing anything. :(

Battlefield 1 is $2 on Steam and is unironically the most fun BF game. You should get it.

I gave it a read, thanks for the Prisma shoutout! Would love to chat about how we can make the ORM work better for Rivet if you’re down for a quick call.

Defining request as anything that could or does reach a datastore (redis, postgres, etc)

Trying to come up with some juicy tables about pricing (apropos of nothing I swear) and having some trouble:

If you wouldn't mind sharing: how many requests per month does an average user on your app generate?

If I see the words "on-chain" one more time I'm gonna lose it.

No but really you're not. This is genuinely the most exciting thing about Prisma ORM right now. I have an early-early-access version in my hands right now and it's just glorious.
