And I wonder if there is any correlation between the drought and human-induced climate change. 🤔

This is us (blue dot) right now.
Arizona desert sunset in Tucson with a black saguaro cactus skeleton in the front left and low bushes and buildings in black at the bottom. The sky is tones of pink and orange with some purpley blue clouds high above.
#Tucson
Desert sunset tonight was breathtaking! It was a lot more pink than this but this still looks pretty cool.
Hamilton, getting the Superman-eye view of Lake Wilma.
Thanks, Jen. You can also sign up on your county emergency management to get emergency notifications on your phone. Stay safe.
Success!
Brilliant!👏
😂🤣Only you 😂
A purple playground. That’s rare.
I don’t know how you can get anything done with Ziti’s cuteness all over the place.

Freshly picked Concord grapes sit in low baskets on the back steps of a porch.
Some of last Fall’s grape harvest.

Love this photo.
Two photographs, side by side, the first a photograph (on the left) of a penguin standing next to a bagpipe player in a snowy arctic landscape, where whoever wrote the caption felt a need to note for identification purposes that that the figure to the right in the photo was the bagpipe player. The second photograph (on the right) is of US President Donald J. Trump standing next to a bespeckled costumed Easter Bunny on the White House Truman Balcony where whoever wrote the caption felt a need to note for identification purposes that the figure standing to the left in the photo is the President of the United States.
It's rare that I actually lol, but these two thematically related photos did indeed get me to laugh out loud. Seeing them next to one another makes them even funnier. :D
He probably was VP before my time.
Back then, the South End was just starting to be fashionable, & it was still pretty rundown. 3 St Botolph was an old, huge building. I had a studio apartment there. 46 Milford was a newly renovated brownstone, & I got a big discount for keeping the lobby and stairs clean. Was A. Ullman your friend?
Hamilton’s joy is contagious. 😊
Sadly, very few, and only one digitalized. Didn’t have a camera. I lived at 3 St Botolph, and later at 46 Milford, & worked at Bunkkerhill Community College as a counselor. Before that, I was at Tufts as an undergrad. This digitalized photo of me was at the Public Garden in 1978. Boston cowboy 🤠😂

It does get hot earlier each year. Several Jacksonville counties are having wildfires, & we’re under wildfire watch in Camden & Charlton. I don’t know about Glynn. Got to go 💤. I’m having my annual wellness test tomorrow. Gotta make sure I ace the IQ test: “Person, woman, man, camera, TV.” A breeze!
I still miss living in Boston. I spent about eight years there & was there for the Bicentennial, starting in April ‘75, actually. Some of my best memories. I saw the Queen, the tall ships, & even met Gerald Ford at the Colonnade Hotel (I lived just behind it on St. Botolph Street). Exciting times! 🇺🇸
That’d be nice, to get some shade in your balcony. We don’t always get a breeze but we have ceiling fans that we turn on when needed. Of course, during the dog days of summer, nothing helps.
Photo of a German Shepherd dog standing outside in side profile view in front of back yard metal fence railing, barking ferociously at someone out of frame but near the house. One side of his lip is raised as he snarls and his fangs are visible.
I caught Apollo mid-snarl in his fav. activity: Terrifying golfers who come anywhere *remotely* near the yard. His Hound of the Baskervilles act has thrown more than one person off their swing. Amusingly, most cheer his protectiveness & say, "Good Boy!" A few pale at his size. #Dogs #GSDs #FangsOut
