Thanks for the cite. Uncertain whether it includes State LE and not just local but that's an easy fix. There is a State Constitutional issue with the prohibition applying to school hires that might go away it seems if limited to school LE positions.

Others can devise fair and meaningful ways to redistribute to their customers the returned tariff payments. Companies would get rewarded with respect. Rare for them.

May I suggest that you commit to a law that prevents not just State LE investigative support of ICE but more critically prevents a State or Local CA LE officer from moonlighting for ICE and prevents any of those LE organizations from ever hiring anyone who was an ICE, CBP or other DHS officer
