Yellow graphic with text “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free — Emma Lazarus in her poem The New Colossus inscribed on the Statue of Liberty." On the right side is the State of Liberty’s hand holding her torch. A blue ACLU logo is in the bottom left.
Etched on the foot of the Statue of Liberty is a poem that speaks to the heart of our nation's responsibility.

Really love this cartoon from the great Michael De Adder. The outpouring of support coming in has been truly amazing! Thanks everybody!

Ugh indeed. Many gs and hs.
More later but for now just gratitude for this opportunity to do what I love. Final performance of THISTLES is this afternoon at 2:30pm at 59E59.
I just made a joke where the punchline was “Ah! But Underneath….” Thankfully my husband laughed because he too is a Theater Person.
My mom’s soap was “Ryan’s Hope.” I loved watching it with her.
It’s a great play!
I would really like to direct a production of What the Constitution Means to Me by Heidi Schreck, so just putting that out there.
THISTLES by Cyndy A. Marion and directed by me runs through 12/1 at at 59E59. Proud of this production and everyone’s wonderful work!
