I’m still a bit shocked! 😁
(And yay I remembered my Bluesky login info lol)
A black, brown and white Abyssinian guinea pig peeks out of a cat bed. He’s very sweet but it’s clear there’s not a thought in his head.
Elvis Parsley saw his shadow. That means six more weeks of romaine lettuce for him. 🥬
One last bit of news before publishing takes the long holiday nap…
More horror is heading your way from @jillbaguchinsky.bsky.social!
Book announcement: “Crystal Castro at Little, Brown has acquired May the Dead Keep You by Jill Baguchinsky (So Witches We Became), a dark YA horror novel loosely inspired by Wuthering Heights, in which a teen girl must confront the dreadful history of her unusual home and the redwood forest that surrounds it, or risk losing everyone she loves to its traumatic power. Publication is scheduled for winter 2026; Eric Smith at P.S. Literary Agency brokered the deal for world rights.” The announcement is framed by a photograph of a redwood forest.
In 2026 we reach beyond death. #MayTheDeadKeepYou
A photo of two guinea pigs finishing a snack of lettuce and looking vaguely annoyed by the fact that their plate is empty.
Look at my sons. Not a brain cell in sight.
It’ll take me a while to track down some old friends and get back into the habit of posting, but I’m here! Love seeing some familiar faces.
Find out which SO WITCHES WE BECAME character I dragged during this interview with @inbetweendrafts.bsky.social. 😁
It’s really pretty cool that one thing you can do to support people you like is ask your local library to get their book because it doesn’t cost you anything, it helps them, and the librarian gets to know someone actually wants to read a book and not just use the computer for Roblox
Nothing makes a writer’s holiday brighter than readers adding their books on Goodreads, just saying. 🥹🥹
A close-up photo of Gatsby the gray and white tabby cat, who appears to be sniffing the camera.
Pretty sure my first post on any new social will always include an awkward cat photo.
Anyway, here’s Gatsby. Feel free to boop.
