I don't put a TON of thought into my characters' names, most of the time I try to name characters from a variety of nations and then ride on the coattails of whatever their names mean later, AFTER I've named them!

hahahahahaa, had to do this one too. Malgaren was a keysmash, Alduin sounded fun and I had no idea that the Skyrim dragon existed before I named him, and Cade (Caduceus) is thematically appropriate and would have been something his father named him. he's the most thought out!!

Alduin is kinda the same, he's just a Guy, so he isn't familiar with a truly formal setting. he tries his damndest to have good manners though, even if he goofs it sometimes. but above all else, he is DAMN chivalrous, manners/social heirarchy be damned.

Malgaren is similar in the way that he's judgmental, but he was brought up for most of his life as a soldier. he spent some of his youth as a priestess, so he's familiar with some religious formalities, but he has to learn about formal proceedings and how to navigate them.

in terms of formal events/settings, Cade is the best for sure, because he is very intimate with the idea of a formal setting. he's very judgmental about placements, white tablecloth service, dress code, etc. he notices all those details and will remember them.

Cade is from a rich family so he knows his manners!!! but he chooses to be crass often.
Mal knows his stuff and he holds pretty closely to Drow formalities, but those come off as fucking rude to anyone else.
and Alduin is very casual! he's deeply chivalrous but he's a really casual guy!
