Honestly, this might be my last straw with this team. Can’t cheer for the pedo team.

Don’t want to let billionaires ruin my sports fandom, but seeing lutnick there with Harris made me only feel hate toward the entire organization.

Surely there is enough evidence to put Josh Harris away for life

I know being a parent is hard and sometimes accidents happen and you can’t be beating yourself up about it, BUT, here’s a video of this woman filming content while driving her giant SUV and I think she should be executed.

I also dreamed last night that they were down 145-42 at the half. That feels more realistic.

Saw a Ricky shirt at Kennywood yesterday and definitely heard the Ricky coming out of someone’s apartment on my walk to a Pittsburgh bar just now.

The Sixers obviously have no chance, but maybe…

I suspect the Pope sounds "woke" to many Christian conservatives because the US is steeped in prosperity theology, where the point of worship is to deliver health and wealth to believers. Thus, "feed the hungry" and "show mercy for the poor" sounds needlessly political and "woke."

not sure what is more odd: that it apparently didn't crack the top three, or that it is being advertised on the DC metro

“I hate when we have to take the car. It's boring I can't see as much and I feel sick. I like riding my bike to 711 and to soccer. I want to bike by myself but it's not safe right now so my mom and dad won't let me. I want me and more kids to be able to bike
and go places not just right on their sidewalk. Biking I can see more around me and I like the sun and the fresh air."

Today’s betterbraddock.org comments so far are absolute gold.

A renewed nationwide push for abstinence-only sex ed would likely fix their little problem right up.

New rules mean many DC restaurants are closing streateries The District made streateries permanent. But restaurant owners say the rules are too costly and complicated to keep them up.

DC implemented a new policy for its streeteries that cost restaurants $20,000 to implement.

The result: virtually every restaurant eliminated their outdoor dining, many have reduced their hiring, & now a few cars can park more easily.

Congrats on the successful policy change, DC government!

imo the university should lose its nonprofit status and accreditation, and the right to call itself a university

you are either a university or you're not, and universities that cut humanities and social sciences to the bone are not universities. it's a glorified DeVry

Thinking about what I'd do if I quit my job and settled on "Low stakes Punisher" where I take on villains who are rude to service workers, who don't pick up after their dogs. That kind of thing. Our country is going to hell and I will fix it one asshole at a time

Remember, boys. This is baseball. We are not here to have fun, enjoy anything, or create happiness in ourselves or the crowd. We are here to grind our teeth and stare at people until they submit to our will. Much like Judge Dredd. Now go out there and be like the military.

Here’s a thought: American men’s national teams are going to get more and more insufferable across all sports because the ladder of youth athletics is built to require an athlete’s family invest a fortune in them at each stage so demographically they’re increasingly 1:1 with the GOP’s base.

it's deeply embarrassing that team usa is treating the wbc like a military operation while every other team is just having a lot of fun

More cars is never ever the answer. If someone is trying to sell you how safe they are, they've already lost the argument. They're not safe; they're just adding more cars to the road.

McDuffie aims to make D.C. ‘most affordable’ U.S. city in mayoral policy rollout Kenyan McDuffie and Janeese Lewis George, the two top Democratic contenders in the June primary, differ on how to solve soaring energy costs and other expenses.

@kenyanmcduffie.bsky.social would be terrible for DC.

As CM for Ward 5, his only real transpo accomplishment was the short-lived G9 bus. He didn’t push getting the MBT finished (happening under his successor) and voted to fund parking at Union Market rather than a second NoMa Metro entrance.

How can he sacrifice everything to baseball if he’s also sacrificing things to fight fires?

But what if he said he was putting troops on the ground in Iran and they somehow ended up in, like, Kenya instead?
