Completely agree. Ethical and quality concerns deserve more attention. Do wonder if teachers feel the same and worry the pressure to ‘just get things done’ might make these deeper problems easier to overlook. How do we bring these risks into a conversation often dominated by short-term survival?

Is there any difference between using a lesson planned by AI and one that is from a scheme of work? Teachers will always need to adapt planning, regardless of its source. The issue is having the time to do this properly, allowing teachers to be teachers, not technicians.

It has been interesting helping some of our Y3 and Y4 pupils look at ways of solving these sorts of problems - this one is taken from a Grade 3 international maths competition.
