Racism should be disqualifying because you are a stupid person if you participate in the ideology. Racists shouldn't be allowed to operate a car and we let them command a military. You just have to be so so dumb to be racist.

ChatGPT4o for BASH one-liners | Seung-Goo Kim It's a magic!😳

LLMs are truly alchemy in the sense (and only in this sense) that they can easily brew even the most arcane one-liners🫕: seunggookim.github.io/blog/2024/on...

It's such a disgrace that now we have to see subscription advertisements in PURCHASED (bundled with the hardware) software. Jobs'd be spinning in his grave. 🪦

'It's a Killing Field': IDF Soldiers Ordered to Shoot Deliberately at Unarmed Gazans Waiting for Humanitarian Aid IDF officers and soldiers told Haaretz they were ordered to fire at unarmed crowds near food distribution sites in Gaza, even when no threat was present. IDF soldiers have now themselves admitted they have been ordered to murder aid-seekers in Gaza.

Truly an atrocity built on atrocity.

Perhaps I was overly scared of JS. It's still a better language than the other arbitrary stuff, like NBS Presentation. I mean, it shoots some pages and UIs! 🚀
But 🤔 perhaps my impression is because I've been semi-vibe coding with ChatGPT through VS-CoPilot...

Reverse Double-Dipping: When Data Dips You, Twice—Stimulus-Driven Information Leakage in Naturalistic Neuroimaging This article elucidates a methodological pitfall of cross-validation for evaluating predictive models applied to naturalistic neuroimaging data--namely, 'reverse double-dipping' (RDD). In a broader co...

And what if I told you that the model in the figure was trained by pure noise?🤯😱 This scary artifact is due to a faulty cross-validation design, which I call "Reverse Double-Dipping" in my new preprint. Please read it to avoid RDD!👹 doi.org/10.1101/2025...

🚨New preprint alert!🚨
Say you have a new hypothesis that the brain encodes a particular musical information X, which is theoretically plausible.🧐 So, you ran an encoding analysis on EEG data. Now the topography of prediction accuracies looks like this!🤩 What would you conclude?🥳 🧪

The perpetrator in the Magdeburg attack has been living in Germany for 18 years, is a psychiatrist from Saudi-Arabia, a strong critic of Islam, and supporter of the far right AFD. He also hated the German “islamfriendly” state (bureaucracy and police), became more radical, and vowed vengeance.

I hate being a stereotypical epidemiologist, but… They only asked if people commuted by bike at baseline and never again. They did not control for obesity, income, or other forms of exercise. The most we can conclude from this is that exercise is good, or that healthy people commute by bike.

17-year-long Scottish study of 82,000+ adults finds commuting by bike reduces your risk of:
• early death
• hospitalisation for any reason
• cardiovascular disease
• cancer mortality
• treatment for mental health problems.

Yeah, but those LTNs and bike lanes are *really* annoying.
