My laptop gets upset when I'm away for too long. It locks the screen, closes Teams and Outlook, and opens ~20 instances of the calculator app.

Me: I need to delegate more, remove tasks from my list, remove unnecessary distractions, and reclaim my time.

Also me: I wonder if i could juggle a side job?

Yep, that's probably it. And @wldk.nl had an interesting point that I hadn't thought of - the diff between appreciating the person vs the act. I guess either is right.

The latter ("you") makes sense but it's always sounded weird to me because I'm so used to hearing the former ("it").

AI has become my business partner, career counselor, marketing coordinator, financial advisor, and therapist

Its a good time to start thinking what challenging activities to take on next year, and what to remove.

I can't help it, but every time I've heard or read "Copilot is the UI for AI," I immediately think, "Oh my"

I have never seen that before, and I am so glad that I now have 😆

Today, kiddo lost her 2nd tooth in 3 days and said, "the tooth fairy's gonna make me rich!"

I wanted to set myself a reminder without my kid knowing, so I tried speaking to Google assistant in Spanish.

Me: "recuérdame a las 10" (remind me at 10).

Assistant: "I found several La Quinta Inns nearby"

The only time my images appeared grainy was when I used screenshot from my wide-screen monitor. After that, I took all screenshots from my laptop screen, saved the images in high res, and saved them as png. Didn't have any issues after that.
