worked in my office today and left the door open for benny to come and go as he pleased. he did completely fine, no accidents and even went into the kitchen to lay by himself a few times during the day! I think boarding really helped him gain some independence

i need to get back to using this site more regularly! if moots are still using this app, please enjoy benny pics
see, that's my problem. we BOTH move a lot when sleeping. it'd be a mess
this is sending me so bad, he's SLUMPED 🤣
so I feel more comfortable letting him roam in my room (carpeted) outside of just going in and out of his crate.
do ya'll let ya'll's pets sleep with y'all? 👀 idk about sleeping in the bed with me but I am thinking about letting benny lounge on my bed during the day and stuff. I think we're edging towards fully potty trained, he's consistently letting me know when he needs to go
let benny put of his crate cause he needed some down time after his walk but he was sleeping 😁😁😁
benny graduated today and the trainer loved him 😭 she begged me to sign him up for intermediate classes which I have! we start on thursday.
benny is really big as hell. standard doodle my ass, this dog gonna be like 75-80 lb 😒😒😒
benny can now get on the couch by himself and how about i was making myself some coffee, turned around and this dog was on the couch watching fraiser 🤣
5 month old benny is way chiller than 4 month old benny (so far)
that includes waiting for him to tell me when be has to potty
I'm working letting on benny be bored and settle on his own. he doesn't need constant entertaining and i shouldn't give him that expectation.
need to bathe benny but not even sure if its worth it cause he's gone to daycare on monday
benny is 5 months old today 🥺 idk, maybe I'll miss the puppy stage but I do not right now lmao. let's get to 2 years please!
my son is back in my custody and he stinks. i gotta bathe him at some point today cause sheesh
i had so much fun but i missed my boy 😩
benny is boarding at an actual facility after lmao. She's kept in contact with me but I just don't like the idea of him being at someone's house. luckily his daycare is bougie and they have nice boarding too. it's expensive but oh well.
apparently he was running the direction of my car but bitch!!! she apologized a lot and sent pics but bitch if i get a call that he ran off again im going to pick my baby up
dropped benny off and not 5 minutes later the sitter's NEIGHBOR called me saying he ran off and they had him..........
and it's mainly been small dogs too. I get it, they're little and gotta let everyone know they aint no hoe but the owners gotta get it together.
and the owners will just be like "sorry!" like no bitch get your dog cause if I have to snatch him up or choke him out I won't be nice about it and I won't be paying any vet bills.
I try and walk benny early in the morning and early in the afternoon to avoid other owners but still.
there are so many reactive ass dogs in this neighborhood and only one owner (that i've come across) seems to know that about their dog and acts accordingly. wondering if it's even worth it to walk benny here 😒
it's the last day of 2024. this year hasn't been so bad tbh. It honestly flew by.
I mean the sitter has been scheduled and Benny is going regardless, I just wanna know if I need to pack or not 🧍🏽♀️ guess I'll be the one to dust off the gc.
I have a NYE trip that supposed to happen tomorrow and I haven't heard from anybody regarding it since early December.....
same but i'm blaming it on getting a puppy lmao
i put this dog outside so i could mop! i opened the blinds and the window and he still went nuts and JUMPED THROUGH THE WINDOW! yeah, i'm ready for this trip tomorrow.
i tried my trainers tips for loose leash walking with benny and his walk improved SO much 😭 there's hope for the future.
