2/2 Meanwhile, the power and agency rests with an intentionally hidden 3rd party who organised the outcome (however benign in the case of Father Christmas, not that benign in others, incl #GebAI) it feeds dependence/demands obedience, exploiting early learned childhood behaviour patterns. #goodgirl

What you describe is Father Christmas/pilgrimage behaviour.
The participants male a list of things that they want and for which they are willing to perform und Support Rituals, even if there are more productive ways of obtaining and retaining agency in exchange for more effort. 1/2

This does not really reflect the increasing sartorial expressions of enlightenment that accompany the some of the regeneration. :-)

The concept is brilliant, you just need a different brand. Much better than the orange version

Sometimes manuscripts only survive in pieces. Here is an example: a 15th c. breviary used to make collages in the 1800s. An interesting historical example, but not something you would want to to today! (UPenn Ms. Coll. 713)

Not the 4th one. Too much could go (even more) wrong for the innocent bystanders.

Is this when they think there was ONE battle of Lepanto and then find out it was a pretty awful loop. I think 1571 was the 7 or 8 rerun (most of which the Holy league lost) and in my view the real miracle was that it didn't go onto the 10th repeat.
One of the things I hope nobody needs to re-enact.

I got a few sneaky comments from people who still go on spring break, thought it may be a 'teachable moment' for the kiddies. :-) no offence to you intended.

And just to be a nerd: the Neil Armstrong quote is also Apollo 11 in 1969.
Apollo 17's famous quote is Gene Cernan: We leave as we came and, God willing, as we shall return, with peace and hope for all mankind'.

Give the AI a well aimed kick from somebody who has a Saturn V Model in her bedroom.

A Persian gilded dinner plate with five figures in a garden surrounded by Les from Rumors poetry.

In the early 1220s a young Persian man arrived in Konya in Turkey, having fled from the Mongols wishing to extinguish a very old civilisation.
He became an inspiring writer and poet, 800 years later people still read him: Rumi
“Peace is not a destination; it is the path you walk with love.”

Let's not forget the computer on Apollo 11 malfunctioned on moon landing. They had to do that manually. Hence the "you had a lot of people turning blue, we are breathing again, thx." Nothing new under the sun.

I don't know if this is satire. But just in case. You are on a dating app and your excuse is 'family night'. Hmm...how many relationships do you intend to handle at once? One wife and how many others? At the very least get someone who cares to rephrase your excuse for you. If this is satire. :-)

At this point I would like to remind all participants of our annual Easter strategy board game meeting, that the first one to drop the F-bomb has lost the game. There are children present.

Protect Chaco Canyon! Trump’s DOI has announced a proposal to open it to oil and gas drilling—potentially destroying sites that have been sacred to Pueblo and Diné indigenous communities for generations.
