Totally agree. Too many town governments think they are the untouchable lords of their little fiefdom. State governments need to flex their muscles and remind these rogue local governments who reports to who

This is Chuck revealing who I always suspected he was- he’s basically a NIMBY who always wants hyper local control for some reason. He is not serious about solving the housing crisis

I want to like the guy but he often comes across as a NIMBY. The insistence on local control, the resistance to states enacting pro-housing regulation. He seems to have a very narrow window of how housing can be built which is much closer to NIMBY than to someone trying to solve the housing crisis
