There's also a brisk business in pulling ancient infrastructure from elsewhere in the world and retrofitting it.
These people are all going to get crushed as more LNG export capacity comes online and EU nations bid the price up up up in a couple years
Take a sniff. Pull it out.
Yep. Gas export capacity is a bottleneck but that will open up in a few years; balancing prices with what Germany will pay absent Hormuz dire straits puts them deep underwater. This might hasten the reckoning though.

A lot of these projects depend on gas power. LNG export capacity to Europe is going upupup! in the next four years, which will put a lot of already built stuff underwater

100% that experience completely broke his brain. Tried to apologize out of it, which didn't work, so he got increasingly weird and bitter, and finally made the rightward turn.

the internet starting to re-fragment into having Actual Websites again as centralized social media self-destructs is unironically one of the absolute best, most positive things happening rn
Monolith social media is not what the human condition desires.
Come to think of it, I also had that album taped to CASSETTE so that I could listen to Cowgirl while riding my bike around in extremely unsafe ways. Discman couldn't handle the jostle. Hard to beat this helldiving through like Times Square or suchlike:

Underworld: still got it.
I came up as a young man with dubnobasswithmyheadman on a discman(!!!) walking rainy nights in the Village. "Into the blood," and so forth. It's inspiring to see artists putting out high quality new stuff 25 years later.

What's your source on the Arc XP layoffs?
We didn't have a company thing for this. Part of our agency partnership program is to let them all have a free site to give away, and similar for employees, so it's devolved to individuals deciding how they want to use that.
Continuity is a specific discipline in filmmaking. At it's base is making sure the physical environment of the set is consistent across many days of shooting. The minutia is a whole job.

"On a traditional film set, the background would be the same, things would be the same [from scene to scene]."
If you can't get continuity from these models it's never going to work.
As real live shit continues to happen, it just won't be an effective information environment. Like LinkedIn. Except instead of being a blandly professional environment it'll be X the Everything App, for fans of that kind of thing.
