This is probably cosmic payback from some dumb assed comment I made to an older person when I was in my 20s and I didn’t realize it at the time.

We’ve lost friends, classmates, we are in hormone hell and we live in fear of losing our jobs too. So shut the hell up about not wanting to look like a 70s baby.

Of course I won’t say anything, lest I be “difficult” but plenty of people born in 1970 are still having to work. I was born in 76, not far off. Life is hard enough in your 40s and 50s and beyond. Many of us, myself included, have no parents anymore.

I gotta get this off my chest, what really chaps my ass are comments from younger coworkers, especially women, that complain about being/looking old. Coworker said they got her birth year wrong as 1970 and she said she didn’t want to look that old. Would it be a crime if you did? (Continued)
