A reminder: we are trying (and, frankly, failing), to fund original scripted audio comedy at the bargain price of £14 per series. Shows can be withdrawn from sale in less than a month, so if you've been planning on pledging, now is the time to pledge:

This week on NonCensored, fashion critic Hannah Winter joins the show to explain why the people you thought looked good at the Oscars didn’t, actually.

Other podcasts talk about beavers replacing Winston Churchill on bank notes. Only NonCensored would interview a beaver to find out how they feel about this.

Was just in a charity shop and genuinely couldn't tell if the talk show on the sound system was real or NonCensored, so uh, well done/try harder @leadmojo.co.uk.
No NonCensored this week due to unforeseen circumstances, but trust us: we would have been *all over* these new banknotes.
Why did Reform's Matthew Goodwin lose the Gordon & Something by-election? And how COULD he have won? He speaks EXCLUSIVELY to NonCensored, out now in all the best podcast apps.

(If you go to the version on Patreon there's a fourth segment, but you have to pay for that.)
Why did Reform fail to win the Gorton & Denton by-election? Suella Braverman has a theory, in this interview that was recorded before the result (and also, therefore, before Matt Goodwin and Nigel Farage reacted to the defeat).

I’ve done a few blogs about making John Finnemore’s Souvenir Programme on my Tumblr? Eg. www.tumblr.com/edmorrish/17...
And @gralefrit.bsky.social’s book and blog are not exclusively about audio comedy, obviously, but some is and a lot of what he writes about is cross-disciplinary: joelmorris.substack.com/podcast
There’s also a six-part history of radio comedy that I produced with Alex Hollands in 2015, covering 1975-2005 in six episodes, each spanning five years: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b...
What sort of thing are you after? For example, @eddierobson.bsky.social wrote blogs for the BBC Writer’s Room, including this one that goes through all eight drafts of an episode of a sitcom we made: www.bbc.co.uk/writers/blog...
This sounds like a good idea to me
Ok.
Also, this car probably won’t crash so there’s no point putting airbags in.
That’s fair. One of our shows is three months of basic Audible subscription. But Audible operate at a massive scale and take ownership of everything they commission (including the series we made for them). This is an attempt to make stuff that primarily benefits the writers and creators of the work.
I don’t think any creatives support its abolition. But I know that Nigel Farage does.
Less of a station, more of a slot (eg Monday, 6.30pm).
It’s probably wise to find out if this works before the BBC gets defunded/abolished.
And here’s a link to the show on BBC Sounds: www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...
The more clicks we get the more likely a series is…
Incredible programme and presenter. The pathetic barefaced lies people have swallowed about ‘soft touch’ Britain are totally removed from the grim reality of the extortionate hoops which must first be cleared.
I'll absolutely give this a listen, because believe you fucking me it was a pain in the hole moving to America to marry one of their fine women, but a pal in Scotland did it the other way round and fuck me it's lucky he's rich.
