Classical guitar albums
The Prince’s Toys by Koshkin, a sick Brouwer CD, and a collection of Takemitsu’s guitar music performed by Philippe Azoulay.
Lots of classical guitar albums by Bream, Barrueco, and even a Galbraith! There are tons of Segovia, Williams, and David Russell, too. The Koshkin has been on my want list for a LONG time. The Takemitsu is awesome, too.

George Crumb CDs
I was gifted hundreds of CDs by a couple friends. I kept about half and donated the rest to the Rochester Hills library.
Some albums that I’ve always wanted physical copies of. I went from having zero George Crumb albums to THREE, including Kronos Quartet’s Black Angels album. I am in HEAVEN!

A 3-way Venn diagram with the headers: CATHOLICISM / BDSM / OCD
The crossover points read:
CATHOLICISM + BDSM: “You’ve been very naughty.”
CATHOLICISM + OCD: “Touching this water will cleanse you of your sins.”
BDSM + OCD: “Again.”
Center (all 3) reads: “You must perform a series of tasks as penance.”
this is the thesis I will present to God when it’s time for me to graduate from Earth

Meme image from Castlevania Symphony of the Night of Dracula saying "What is a man? A miserable little pile of secrets", however, "man" and "secrets have been replaced with images of bluesky's logo and an errored out notifications page, now reading "What is a [Bluesky icon] A miserable little pile of [Internal Server Error]"

painting of a big scary T. rex crunching the thorny head of an idiot pachycephalosaurus while his two buddies look on in horror but will probably joke about it years later to soften the shared emotional pain

It is very nice to see JD Vance fail utterly and profoundly at doing International Diplomacy, on every possible level.
Imagine it from his POV: Iran talks failed. Orban forced to skitter out of office. The Pope actively hates you.

A hand holding a copy of Black Hole Science is Filled with Apologies. The feet have orange monster claws. Book cover has mother and daughter in bedroom, daughter pointing at a giant floating snake and a star outside the window. on the curtain it says the title and NEVER ANGELINE NORTH
Beautiful cat with a copy of SARA or 'I lived my life as a cloud that followed overhead' by Never Angeline North. Cover is yellow and red and has a pear covered in bees on the front.
For those who may have missed it, I have put out two books in the last six months: SARA and Black Hole Science
SARA is a novel in fragments about a girl, her dog in an impossible dream world.
Black Hole Science is a collection of short material from 2012-2025.

Listen, I know there are so many good books out there — like, so, so many — and still I’d like you to read and maybe enjoy mine. Roll the dice, bud. You just might get lucky.

I'm one of those trans women. I worked ground ops for Artemis I.
I am torn between celebrating the success of my friends and peers and grieving how my dream of working for NASA was shattered by hateful assholes in Tallahassee

Spent the afternoon drive listening to fucking Penderecki 7, car clinking and clanking. At least it fits with the Penderecki. DID NOT CRY THIS TIME.

Verdi: Requiem VI Rex tremendae
YouTube video by Monalisa de Lego
The Rex Tremendae from the Dies Irae is just so, so terrifying. The words and music literally begging God to save our souls during the apocalypse (“SALVA! Salva me! SSSAAALVAA! SALVA ME!”). Love Verdi’s drama. Cried at the end of this one, too.
