Hey, it’s been a while. What have you been up to? I’ve recently learned to do a little embroidery and cross stitching. I’d say I’m entering my grandma phase, but not only did I learn to knit over a decade ago, but it’s also sexist and ageist to presume only old ladies enjoy these awesome hobbies.

I wrote an essay on the symbolism of names in an Alice Munro short story on a two hour ferry ride, took a bus to UVic, went straight to the computer lab, printed and handed it in. Got an A+ and was told it was publishable. GenAI could fucking never.
