Amazing talk yesterday at the Munk School, University of Toronto 🇨🇦
Packed room, sharp questions, real engagement, exactly what these conversations should be. Thanks to everybody involved and all those who attended 🙏
Remember, Vladimir Putin has annexed more territory than he will ever realistically hold.
If anything, he’s already failed.
Some inside Russia are starting to realise this isn’t contained, and they’re worried the attacks will get worse
"Current air defenses can no longer handle the scale of Ukrainian drone strikes. Without radical reform or shutting down production in Europe, major problems will emerge by year’s end.”
Russian forces have tried it again, using the Urengoy–Pomary–Uzhhorod gas pipeline to infiltrate the Sumy region, supported by quad bikes and motorcycles.
Detected early and stopped fast by the 71st Airborne Assault Brigade and adjacent units.
35 KIA
17 WIA
Multiple vehicles destroyed
Everyone’s watching the headlines, few are watching the signals, here are five key things that actually matter around Ukraine right now.

But they said…….Trump said…………we get the stuff, victory, and the straits are open.
Onward chaps, through we go……..
💥🔥 Overnight strikes hit the Novokuybyshevsk refinery and an oil depot near Sevastopol.
This is what real pressure looks like.
While Trump aids Russia, Ukraine is enforcing sanctions the only way left, by dismantling the war machine piece by piece 💪
There have to be serious questions about the White House right now. Easing pressure on Russia while Belarus edges closer to deeper involvement in the war?
People are dying because of these decisions, and where is Congress?
Teenagers being drawn into the production of weapons used against civilians, that alone should set alarm bells ringing.
This isn’t just propaganda, it’s normalisation, it’s the industrialisation of war reaching into childhood.
“My name is Daryna. I’m 16… next year I’ll be earning 150,000 rubles a month.”
A Russian drone manufacturer has released a promo video showing minors assembling Shahed-type attack drones, the same systems used to hit Ukrainian cities.
At the same time, Volodymyr Zelenskyy warns Belarus is preparing to become more active in the war.
That’s a system being driven consciously, and Ukrainians are paying for it.
Scott Bessent said 2 days ago there would be no more extensions.
Now Donald Trump extends sanctions relief on Russia for another month, also recently lifting sanctions on Belarus, which also eased pressure on Moscow.
‘We’ve had regime change… the regime was decimated, destroyed and they’re all dead…’ - Donald Trump
Still doesn’t understand how NATO actually works.
Didn’t inform allies.
Months earlier threatening Canada and Greenland, both tied into the alliance structure.
Talk about blindsiding your own side
🙏
This will be the legacy of Vance. The man who hails his betrayal of democracy as his proudest moment.
Truly pathetic. But very clarifying;
You can no longer pretend to believe in the Constitution if you are a supporter of Vance.
Made it, Ukrainian trains are still amazing 🇺🇦🇵🇱
Yup
JD Vance couldn't have been any clearer, "my finest achievement"
And is now aggressively selling his book on faith.
Can anybody else see the hypocrisy?

Our life has to continue, but leaving my wife gets harder and harder, Dnipro 🇺🇦
Canada 🇨🇦 here we come… but first, a casual 17-hour train just to get out of Ukraine 🇺🇦
Journeys like this aren’t what they used to be, even passenger trains aren’t off limits anymore.
Imagine if Putin spent the total cost of the failed SMO on healthcare 🤔
Instead of terrorism
It’s been a long night in Dnipro. Ballistics and drones into the city, residential areas hit while air defence was fully engaged above us.
At least 10 injured, fires across the city.
One person has been killed and at least six injured following a Russian strike on a residential area, according to Interior Ministry head Ihor Klymenko (reported via regional officials).
The missile hit a nine-storey apartment building, turning homes into a strike zone.
🙏🇺🇦
Every man smuggled out is one less at the front. Every official involved erodes trust from within and personally these people should do some serious time if found guilty.
A district council deputy in Zakarpattia caught smuggling draft dodgers across the border for $8,000 a head.
This isn’t isolated anymore, it’s a system and something that’s now being tackled.
War on one side, black market on the other.
This "road of death" - a small section in the Pokrovsky direction, in the Donetsk region, FPV drones destroyed a dozen units of military equipment and enemy assault aircraft.
This is the reality of Putin’s war.
Brutal, but to understand the current battlefield, you have to see it, I mean up close. With a 100km kill zones, many Russians will die never actually seeing an enemy position, in form up points, bases, and the travel in.
You can watch my interview for WP24 on the weeks news
Putin is losing not just his regime, but his allies and support at home.
From Dnipro 🇺🇦

Dnipro has just been hit by a second wave of ballistic strikes, this time in broad daylight.
Emergency services are responding.
I’m limited in what I can report right now, but it was in very close vicinity.
As I’m writing this, we have just been hit in a ballistic attack for the 2nd time this morning.🙏
