In 2024, Louisiana rejected a red flag/extreme risk protection order law & passed permitless carry instead. A strong ERPO law could allow family members/law enforcement to temporarily remove guns from someone in acute crisis who is showing signs of dangerous behavior before the violence happens.
💔 8 children ranging in age from 1-14 years old - including some of his descendants - were killed & 2 others were wounded in a mass shooting in 3 different locations in Louisiana this morning.
