Our transportation system isn't a system at all. We've a chance here to address environmental justice, build a walkable community, bring neighborhoods together, provide for economic growth, improve water quality, reduce the emissions of green house gases, etc. MNDoT is not planning in good faith.

They eliminated the additional rush hour charges as of Jan 1, yes. But routes 32 and 62 were free and will now be charged the regular fare.

Meanwhile Metro Transit in Minneapolis/St Paul has decided to start charging for previously free routes but proudly lauded that they aren't raising any of their other rates. 🤦
