I'm still scripting the first chapter for Andragor - my gay space reluctant piracy GN - so I don't have anything new to show yall just yet, but as soon as I have something, I'll share it.

Photography, painting, sewing and clothe-making, carving, sculpting, glass work, carpentry, and sketching were all as present around me as the various conditions that they all had. OCD, BPD, Schizoaffective Disorder, Chronic Depression - and that's not even mentioning things like Autism.

I really need to give that a read, tbh.

I grew up and around a lot of very creative people who had different "specialties" so to speak, and as I kid I just thought that was neat. It still is neat, but I now have the bonus context that all of them have horrific mental health.

I didn't realise how badly I needed a therapist so most of my desire to write accidentally turned out to be a processing mechanism. But hey! People liked Overdue!

decisions that will impact everyone. This could well be true of every political system, and my bias is showing because I was raised in the UK, but I cannot emphasise enough how much the public in the UK knew their politicians are liars and how transparent it all is.

trying to communicate with an MP, or major media institution, is like attempting to communicate with an alien civilization with a completely different way of perceiving the world. The words you use to describe things do not mean the same thing to them, and yet these people are the ones making policy

time and time again, the British political and media establishment demonstrate themselves as being completely blind and deaf to everything the public can see and hear. They live in and occupy a completely different reality. Intentional manipulation or not, "out of touch" has never begun to cover it.

Hey remember when operation yew tree happened and no one in the public was surprised about what it revealed but the news cycle was full of talking heads saying "I condemn in the strongest possible terms these things that happened on my fucking doorstep"?

No?

We've memory holed that too?

color, lighting, and sketch test sheet. Two arms, from different angles, a pocket lighter, and a loosely lined and colored sketch of the same character in profile, smoking and looking tired.

and another sheet of Krik, this one was mostly to solidify in my head how her arms appear - important, considering she has four of them. Also a little color and lighting test.

So, some specific details!

I will be working on a sci-fi graphic novel with themes of suppression, resistance, struggled survival, community building, revolution, liberation, defeatism, and defiant hope, all explored through the tenious relationship of the three queer protagonists.

A page of drawings of a furry couple engaged in kinky sex. They're both mustelids: A shortstack beefcake of an american badger with a round belly and huge tits. Their markings are a warm milk chocolate color, and they're frequently smoking a cigar. The taller of the pair and the submissive between the two is a mongoose. She's a simple ash brown color. Her breasts are a generous handful in size, her build soft but slim, her penis small and cute. Cigar burn scars are scattered across her thighs and a bicep. The scenes around the page are as follows:
-The pair charge through a door, shouting at each other as they undress.
-The mongoose sneers over her shoulder at her partner, who holds her down with one huge paw while painting her back porch red with a firehose paddle.
-The mongoose chokes on a firetruck red dildo saddled tightly on the badger's thick hips. Her partner's paw is fisted tightly in her messy hair. Tears and snot and spit trickle down her face.
-Our focus on the mongoose continues. Reclining on her back, she shouts in pain as the badger puts a cigar out on the soft curve of her inner thigh.
-A red hummer firetruck serves as the backdrop, the clear blue sky reflected in the windshield. The mongoose has been forced into an uncomfortable kneel, arms spread wide and wrists lashed to the hummer's grate. She grits her teeth, flushed.
-A headshot of our badger sneering down at us, puffing out clouds of smoke from between their gritted teeth.
-The badger fucks their girlfriend on the hood of the hummer, cigar clenched tightly in their teeth.
-Winding down and back indoors, the badger holds their partner tenderly. They finger her with one hand, roll a nipple with their other, and snuffle warm badger kisses into her neck.
-Well earned aftercare is in progress. The mongoose wears a snuggly black hoodie and reclines on their couch while the badger coos over her. Badger: "You make me crazy, girl."

being autistic w/ a loving partner is so sick because growing up you're conditioned that you're weird and offputting when you speak passionately about things and that fear is still in you even as you grow older but then you just nerd out at your gf and she goes "god I love you so much"
