The challenge is not so much the cost but the availability of the people to do the work in rural areas - that’s my experience anyway - and something I hope the government will tackle to achieve longer term energy transition in rural areas

Thank you to everyone that has been in touch to share concerns about the ridiculous price increases being experienced by South West Norfolk residents for heating oil. Today I met with the Energy Minister, to share these concerns.

Last night, I was thrilled to get a sneak peak of The Jenyns pub at Denver. It’s opening for customers today so make sure you pop along sometime to support it!

That’s right - a pub OPENING in South West Norfolk!

Side note - The Jenyns is the only Environment Agency owned pub in the whole country!

We did it! Downham Market SEND school APPROVED!

Thank you to everyone who joined my campaign calling on Norfolk County Council to use the £20 million in Labour Government funding to get the school open.

This is a victory for West Norfolk families, and most importantly, a victory for the children!

'Honest labelling: why transparency on meat and dairy matters' - LabourList Terry Jermy MP for South-West Norfolk urges Defra to introduce Mandatory Method of Production (MMOP) food labelling as a priority.

"Shoppers should be empowered to seek out products that more closely align with their views on animal welfare, but to do this will require the Government to introduce robust labelling regulation." - @terryjermymp.bsky.social 👏👏

I recently received confirmation that the Labour Government would be committing more than £5million to improve SEND provision in Downham Market. This week I went to Ryston End in Downham to call on Norfolk County Council to use the money to reopen the former school site as a specialist SEND school.
