My 3-year-old greyhound Iceman and my brother’s 12-year-old rescue mammoth Trigger both have squirrel detection mode currently set to ‘off’.

He is adorable, but does exhibit such clumsy stupidity that I regularly call him ‘you absolute doofus’. My other favourite dog I walk is a whippet called Bibi, who deigns to race Stanley despite her sharing my opinion of him as an absolute doofus.

I walk an unhinged spaniel called Stanley, who retrieved a rotting rabbit’s carcass from a bush and tried to eat it, while I, using poo bags as improvised gloves, attempted to wrestle the fetid corpse from his clamped jaws.
This has happened 3 times. With a different dead rabbit on each occasion.
