âPeter Mandelson should never have been appointed. This has been a very damaging episode for the governmentâ - Energy Secretary Ed Miliband

Absolutely and if she canât cope with criticism without resorting to abuse she shouldnât be in politics let alone a Government Minister.
Call me old-fashioned but I don't think politicians (and especially not ministers) should publicly tell people to "fuck right off". đ€·ââïž

Someone as thin skinned as Mahmood is ill suited to politics. She needs to go!

Love the wattling around the eye!!
Scotland is being dragged into wars we didnât vote for, ripped out of Europe against our will, and tied into UK debt and spending decisions we have zero real say in.
But when it comes to OUR future, suddenly we need Westminsterâs permission?
Thatâs not a union,thatâs control.đ
NO!
Iran needs to make the full release of the Epstein files a foundational piece of their negotiations.
Same is true of the Israeli government
89 candles would have set off the sprinklers, so we settled for one â and one perfect slice of cake (with @bradtakei.bsky.social on ice cream duty). Thank you to every friend, fan, and fellow traveler who has made these 89 years such a joyous voyage.
''Downing Street attempted to withhold sensitive intelligence from Boris Johnson when he became foreign secretary, the BBC has learned
But she put him in that post and no-one really questioned it, even when we went straight to a supposed Ex KGB mans party in Europe having just left a NATO meeting.
@labouruk.bsky.social Mahmood demonstrating once again why she is unfit for public office.
@bphillipsonmp.bsky.social this is a bit like voter ID - a heavy handed way of dealing with a issue that isnât a significant issue. Most schools already have policies regarding mobile phone use by students. Itâs time to stop using the Telegraph, Daily Mail & Daily Express to decide education policy
Johnson overrode advice about appointing the son of a KGB officer into the Lords.
Nothing from the media. Not a whisper.
Starmer doesnât override advice
Media storm and a hounding of epic proportions.
This is such bollocks.
All primaries and over 90% of secondaries already impose bans.
This is policy to placate GB News viewers and completely unnecessary.

PV providing 589 watts, 345 baseload usage, battery charging at 244 watts.
By 8:15am today solar was generating 70% more than our baseload usage.
On a cloudy day, in England, in April!
The one subject that develops more employable skills than any other is Drama which is undervalued in the target driven English education system.
How dare teachers care about knowledge and education when all we need are new cogs in the capitalist machine, employees trained on public money so they are able to secure and increase profits for a few private pockets?
"Soft skills" sounds so much better than complex exploitation.
And mixing with ex-KGB bosses after slipping his security detail. Never a concern raised by the media about the possibility that he was another of Putinâs useful idiots
Not to mention Johnson's affinity for the venal side of life, viz: parties in Italian villas, and AWOL for 24 hours.
This was _before_ he was PM!
So Bad-Enoch's bleating about Starmer ring very hollow
@goodmorningbritain.bsky.social Iâm no fan of Starmer but find it interesting that the media who are obsessed with the #Mandelson debacle ignored the fact that Boris Johnson was appointed Foreign Secretary despite failing his security clearance & the Security Services expressing concerns about him.
Palantir in the NHS is linked to Mandelson
Mandelson is linked to Wes Streeting
Wes Streeting is defending Palantirâs involvement in the #NHS
Nothing to see or everything to see
Palantir must be removed from the NHS
Reform candidate for Dundee - Arthur Keith - was selected to represent the party despite calling Farage "deplorable" and his team "a complete set of c*nts" just last year.

For those attending the White House Correspondents' Dinner this weekend, a small question:
When you're sitting there at your table, do you think it'll cross your mind that the guest of honor is actively covering up his role in a massive child sex trafficking operation?
The Fraud's Prayer:
Our Father, who art in the White House,
hallowed be thy combover;
thy blingdom come;
thy will be dumb;
In Washington as you are in Florida.
Give us this day our daily round of golf.
And forgive us our insider trading,
as we refuse to forgive those who investigate against us...
We've lost the notion in many universities, I think, of leadership being stewardship of a community
Sad but true. We have also lost the notion of learning to develop knowledge and understanding and replaced it with the idea that learning is just a case of following a set of steps and that the purpose of a degree is to get a better job rather than to develop as an individual.
