It was raining as I saw more rain coming! #showers in #shropshire from #corndon hill. #loveukweather

Here’s a #fingerpostfriday from last weeks #westhighlandway adventure!
The yellow oil seed rape is starting to become abundant in #shropshire. The #longmynd this morning was sunny, but a cool wind took the edge off the temperature. #loveukweather
It’s been #summer in #snowdonia today. Such a contrast with the snow in Scotland only a day ago. Wonderful #views and splendid #hiking weather. #loveukweather
Nice tee!
An early start this morning saw the #munros looking magical. Had to stop at the Commando Memorial to catch a few shots, and the first pic is from the window over the wonderfully named Loch Lochy!
#stormdave in the Scottish #highlands on #A86
So, that was the last day on the @westhighlandway.bsky.social. It was sunny, it rained, it snowed, there was a cold breeze, but the #views on this #hike were good, and the 96miles from #Milngavie to Fort William completed ☑️ #westhighlandway
Day 5 on the @westhighlandway.bsky.social was in fact sunny ☀️! A lovely stride out across the Rannoch Moor with views to eternity. What we came for on this #hiking trip. Last day to Fort William tomorrow.
Day 4 on the @westhighlandway.bsky.social was wet wet wet. The wind swung to the north so it became wet and cold as the day went on. At the lovely Inveroran Hotel now, after a less demanding 26km #hike
Day 3 on the @westhighlandway.bsky.social stayed largely dry, but summits were cloudy capped for the most part. A long #hike from Rowadennan to Crianlarich but there was interest along Lomondside. Around 32km all in.
Day 2 on the @westhighlandway.bsky.social took us to Rowadennan #yha. The #hike was long with a strong NW wind and lots of ups and downs but (I) Conic hill gave great views and along side Loch Lomond was lovely in the birch forest. #westhighlandway
Day 1 on the @westhighlandway.bsky.social got off to a delayed start to allow the heavy rain to clear. Still showery along the way and lots of water on the trail. Made it to the aptly named Drymen! #hiking #walking #westhighlandway
It was far away and the photo is zoomed in, but it looked quite tall. Maybe a pile of bags?
Does anyone know what on earth this is? Taken on the #longmynd in #shropshire earlier this afternoon
Windy myndy. #longmynd #shropshire (I’ll get my coat!)
There were some hefty showers on the border of #wales and #shropshire this afternoon. I was on a section of the North Berwyn Way over Vivod Mountain. #snow over Moel Sych and Cadair Berwyn. #loveukweather
A misty #sunrise in #shropshire this morning
You guys are certainly filling the holes this morning!
I was a bit late to the #sunset party as I got stuck in north #shropshire, but this was on the way home..
It was sunny at home in #shropshire this morning so I thought I’d head out for a walk. It wasn’t sunny in #clun, in fact it was drizzling. The sun made only brief appearances!
A lovely sight in the way to work this morning in #shropshire
In Radnorshire today, collecting trig points! I visited three! It was a cold wind, but very pleasant in shelter with the sun out, and some interesting landforms, presumably caused by water.
It was misty monochrome on #stiperstones in #shropshire in search of #uksnow. Only at the highest elevations was it powdery, otherwise wet and sticky and quite slippy!
Even the #m6 can be lovely under certain, specific conditions!
