I don’t know why this free service isn’t named, but the Behavioral Crisis Response (BCR) team is available to call for immediate help in moments like this. This is a city service SPECIFICALLY for people needing mental health support. It’s also for all ages to utilize (this is important right now).

A government that will spend millions to militarize a city overnight, but won’t feed or house its people, is proving what we already know: our liberation is ours to radically imagine and build for each other.
