Not questioning that racism against different groups can manifest differently. But if we are blind to the common underlying system of racism, we will not make progress towards dismantling systems of racism and superiority, but get caught up in and distracted by 'victimisation hierarchies'.

Racism creates and cements a system of superiority claims and an unjust hierarchy that denies the fundamental principle of equal human dignity.

If in our attempts to address racism we apply different standards depending on what group we're talking about, we fall into the same 'hierarchy trap'.
