My goodness. This is the Ullmark the Sens thought they traded for.

18 is making so many poor decisions with the puck.
This Flyers-Pens game looks like it’s in slow motion compared Sens-Canes.
Giroux seems to be the only Sen playing with some consistent poise so far.
Shorts and T-shirt having a beer on the deck yesterday. Snowing this morning.
League standings and Linus Ullmark’s numbers since his return from a leave of absence on January 31st. Pre game starts at 1 on TSN 1200. Dean and Gord with the call of game one between the Sens and Canes at 3. www.tsn.ca/radio/ottawa...
Travis Green tell us he’s hopeful Tyler Kleven will be available in the first round. He’s skating today.
I was just thinking. You know what a nothing burger game needs? OT
Green gave Alfredsson credit for the the play on the Sanderson PP goal the other night. Have to wonder if it was Alfie again as Sanderson drifted down to the slot to bang one home there.
Ottawa’s PK was 31st in the NHL on January 23rd. Two things happened on January 24th. Mike Yeo took over the lead on coaching the PK, and Mike Amadio became more of a regular on it. It’s 7th NHL since then.
Just arrived at Canadian Tire Centre. TSN 1200 pre game show coming up at 5. That might be the windiest walk from the parking lot I’ve ever experienced here. I feel like I was skiing all day.
9 points from Ottawa’s 3 best players in a huge game with playoff hopes on the line.
Tkachuk - 4 assists
Stutzle - 1 goals, 2 assists
Sanderson - 2 goals
That’ll do.
Kucherov as the half wall QB on the PP is terrifying. Unreal.
Vic Rauter and now Scott Oake. A couple of pros that also knew not to take themselves too seriously. Enjoy retirement. Oake during the 2007 Final was legendary.
I know Sens fans are frustrated, but this is very impressive by Minnesota. Have just choked the life out of this one.
Pretty impressive effort from 38 year old Claude Giroux staying with, and shutting down Hughes while he was starting to dance at the blue line.
Not counting on Jake Sanderson being ready tomorrow(we’ll see). Jorian Donovan was in the starting lineup for Belleville in Rochester, but that’s been it for his night. Under the new “papering” rule, after being sent down, you have to play an AHL game before being recalled. #Sens
Matinpalo with great reads and stick position on the kill.
Goalie asleep to start to the game followed by an undisciplined parade to the penalty box = cooked. What a sad performance.
Hosting Sens@TBL with @BradSmyth613. Pre game starts at 11. Puck drop with @PxPOttawa & @GordWilson at 1.
#Sens have been rolling. 11-3-3 in last 17.
How incredible was the 27 game Hamburglar run? Would have to go 10-0 the rest of the way to match what happened 11 years ago.
Worst game the Sens have played in quite some time. Positive spin, that’s an Ullmark point.
Having spent the night in southern Ontario after watching his son Jorian make his NHL debut, Shean Donovan tells us after a double OT win in goal for Kemptville last night, his other son Rylan was up early this morning taking care of the chores on their Spencerville farm. Gamer.
Welcome to the show Carter Yakemchuk. What a pass.
Really looking forward to see how the Sens rookie D respond. In his last 6 AHL games Yakemchuk has 2g, 7a, 9pts & is +7. Donovan skates well & plays with an edge. Gets a lot of D zone starts. Has played 8 more games, but still notable that he has more even strength pts than Yak.
The Sens previous club record for fewest shots allowed in a game was 11 (3x). They just played most of the game with 4 D and held the Rangers to 9.
Absolutely brutal for Chabot. Same wrist that bothered him for 2 1/2 years before getting surgery. Sanderson, Jensen, Gilbert & now Thomson already out. In the AHL, Crotty & Donovan are injured (Donovan could return this week). Bolduc ineligible. Just Yak, Hamara and Toure left.
Which Ottawa forwards can play D? Asking for a friend.
If the game is half as good as Ella Zibanejad in the pre game ceremony, this should be a good one.
The Sens have 17 points from their D in the 7 games since Sanderson went down with an upper body injury. Chabot has been playing about half the game, and Kleven and Spence have been terrific in taking on the 2nd pair role.
New lines for Green now.
