Thatโ€™s also why they have to eat very iron rich foods there also because otherwise the magnetic toilet flush wonโ€™t even work ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ

screenshot of some terminal windows and splits of the ghostty terminal. on the top there is one ghostty window including three splits. On the bottom there are three separate windows set up in the same way as the split views on the top.

Same here as @uncenter.dev. Ghostty <3

It supports horizontal & vertical splits - you can also resize/navigate them.
In terms of os-level windows personally I am using a windowing manager. Which is nice as the controls are the same for any application.

the infamour "you're tearing me apart lisa" scene from the movie "The Room" as a meme saying "You're tearing me apart chrome webstore submission review".

The picture shows a man crying out loud with his fists thrown up. Next to him the side profile of a woman looking at him.

When you built a little fun project you finally want to share but its stuck in store review for almost two weeks now ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Can you recommend some channels/twitch creators? I recently got a little into wow due to an event in the german twitch community and would love to watch some of this

and it turned out to be a bot quickly.. I'd just like to be able to block genuine bot accounts altogether.
I am on this social platform to engage with people..

To be clear. That account is not a bad actor. A genuine hobby project by some dev. But:
1. only on second look on the profile's pinned message
2. not labelled in any form
3. engaging trying to sound human ("I've been there, pulling my hair out...")

The message was weird which made me look twice

Tried Jan to setup a local LLM for claude code. It sets env variables in .zshenv to do so - but doesn't communicate that (maybe I'm blind?), nor does it revert those changes when stopping the local API server.
Not knowing how this works under the hood "breaks" your claude code beyond reinstall ๐Ÿซ

My designer college Sven unfortunately is not on bsky, nor are his slides online (I think). If that ever changes links will follow (his presentation was absolute chefs kiss)

So while a good portion of the slides are about Rive you won't find a detailed explanation on rive in my slides, as my college had already explained that part.

Also worth mentioning:
This was sort of like a dev perspective reaction presentation to my designer college's presentation 'your UI is dead - make it alive' and we showed both those presentations at the meetup.

picture showing on the left:
a 3d rotated version of an exemplary web page 'Awesome Page - managing some boxes'. It consists merely of a header, some control buttons +/- header, subheader and a section where there are some boxes in a layout. the view is slightly rotated and both the header and the boxes section are visibly detached from the page in order to emphasize that they are individual layers.

on the right there is some explanatory text on the browser's render pipeline's 'Paint' step and its sub-steps: 'Layerize' and 'Rasterize'.

I also especially enjoyed nerding off on the browser's render pipeline ๐Ÿ˜

Ultimately of course all arguments can be resolved in favor of our designer who wants to have great animations in our app ๐Ÿ˜Ž

3 weeks ago 1 0 1 0

I made some cartoon versions of us using Rive and while you might be able to see I'm not a designer myself ๐Ÿ˜… the point was to show that the tool is intuitive enough for devs to do cool stuff with it too and gives us a nice 'middleground' increasing both the design's independence and possibilities
