(2/3) Huge thanks to my supervisors @martingiurfa.bsky.social and Guillaume Isabel for their guidance and support.
Between Toulouse and Paris (and even a lab move!), this PhD was a real adventure : full of inspiring people and moments I’ll always cherish. ✨🏙️

Extremely honored for the opportunity to give the opening Angelique Arvanitaki Lecture at the meeting of the French Society of Neuroscience in Montpellier. Glad that this lecture was named after this brilliant woman who did fundamental work on the nervous system of invertebrates.

Aversive learning reduces aversive-reinforcer sensitivity in honey bees - Scientific Reports Scientific Reports - Aversive learning reduces aversive-reinforcer sensitivity in honey bees

See our last work on the effect of learning on how bees respond to the unconditioned stimulus (US) after learning! We show that learning changes not only conditioned-stimulus processing but also US processing.

Today is Charles Darwin’s birthday

Dear Charles, receive my most sincere thanks for the Theory of Natural Selection and for liberating us from supernatural beliefs and other irrational accounts of our existence; thanks above all for a whole new way to looking at humanity....
