Chart-building with D3 and Svelte 5 Svelte 5's rendering and reactivity features combine beautifully with D3's data tools. In this post, you'll see how.

I've finally got around to giving my website a fresh coat of paint, along with a new blog post on the joys of using D3 + Svelte 5, now with interactive demos 🌞

I'm hoping to write more posts like this now I've got a good platform for them, watch this space.

A screenshot of the article in the original post, with the browser's developer tools open. One of the square figures in the article's main graphic is highlighted, with a popup showing the square's width and height as 35.99px, while the developer tools window shows its width and height as 36.

Question for any web SVG experts: browser scaling causes these `height=36` and `width=36` squares as 35.99px, causing slight clipping. Besides `overflow: visible` on the SVG, is there a cleaner fix?

Why did I ever think Notion would be a sensible CMS for my blog? I need to stop getting so excited about free APIs in the tools I use. Time to bin the hundreds of lines of Notion-to-HTML code and rewrite my posts in MDX, as God intended.
