A quick shandy before we board our flight at Dehli airport at the Dehli Capitals bar! More IPL and ridiculously probably the best beer selection we’ve had in India! #indiabeer

The final bar of our India trip - Quoin Sports Bar in the Novotel, Aerocity, Dehli- a bit more effort has been made than many chain hotel bars and of course the IPL is on! It was this or the pool party - apparently free and on until 10pm (no thank you!) #india

Headed to the Sol Brewing Company in Shimla! Glitzy bar, beers ok, nice relaxed live guitar when we arrived but soon switched to dance music which didn’t really suit the clientele at 17:00! #india

Another day, another hotel bar! The Captains Tavern at the WelcomHeritage Elysium in Shimla! I’m bored of Kingfisher but this was the first time we had them in big bottles! And we had the perfect spot to watch the IPL! #india

Headed to our latest hotel bar - at the Taj in Chandigarh- Lava Bar! The name suggested more excitement than there was but I did try some more sparking Indian wine and the ipl cricket was on!

Headed to the Brew Estate in Chandigarh which promised ‘pub by night’ - it was very much more of a (very) loud bar/nightclub - and the guns (they love a shaped beer glass in India) were allowed on the beer glasses! 🍻

Today is Mahavir Janma Kalyanak in Jaipur which means that no alcohol can be sold so all the bars and off licences are shut - thankfully this doesn’t affect hotel bars, or cross stitching something beer related….

If I ever built a bar (I’m ignoring pubs here) in my home it would have to be like the courtyard bar at our Jaipur Hotel! And they made me a daiquiri (although the ice was not a normal addition)!

Our Jaipur hotel has a pop up roof top bar that opens for an hour each side of sunset! Great views of Jaipur rooftops and the hills and hill forts around Jaipur! #jaipur #Rajasthan
