ZAM did not exactly tell me what they want to do with the site, but they did lay off all the staff and terminate freelancer contracts.

Stonekeep, who was the sole admin of the site, and the only person working full-time on it, was let go a week ago, and ZAM has not announced any future plans for Top Decks. So, that was it, I guess.

I started writing for Hearthstone Top Decks in 2018 when ZAM acquired it, having written for their previous Hearthead website before that. Overall, I wrote 268 articles for Top Decks over more than 8 years. That's roughly half a million words.

Well, it is officially over. ZAM terminated our framework agreement for writing articles for Hearthstone Top Decks. They did not have to order anything under the agreement, so they really wanted to make the point that they will never-ever want anything for the site anymore.
