Just make sure to keep the name as "Socks & Sweater", otherwise the animator won't toggle the mesh!
In Blender, using edit mode, click on all faces attached to the socks, then hold ctrl+L (delimit Material,) then press P to separate the mesh

I am in the process of doing a major overhaul of the model that should make this easier. I don't know when I can release it, but in the meantime you can separate the socks from the sweater in Blender, then import it into Unity. -

Yeah lol. Can't say I recommend it but it's fun to play around with. You can see how I had to manually rotate myself with the controller because turning my back to the camera would turn the model into a twitching singularity of limbs
I was able to try FBT in VR for the first time, using a camera-based tracking software. It's a bit rough around the edges but it works! Showing off my avali model #vrchat #avali

Btw, I plan to update my avali model in the near future again. I feel like I've taken a long enough break from it to want to return to it. I primarily want to add QoL features and adjust the face tracking. Hadn't been feeling up for it sooner since interest in the model has dropped quite a bit

Thanks for the suggestion! I haven't heard of that server, but I may give it a try. My issue tends to be that I end up being too anxious to interact even when I have spaces to exist in. Irl I'm quite sociable, but all communication breaks down when it's over text

I feel like a part of it may be because it's moderately "canon" avali divergent, and part because I didn't advertise it much at all. Being a creator with anxiety sucks xd
