It's the second day of National Library Week, today we are celebrating the library workers, so here's to you, fellow book beans, I hold you aloft in celebration, like the wee special ones ye are!🙌🎉

Went for a bit of a Cov adventure while the sun was out and met up with some friends for a lovely little lunch that turned into an early dinner😄
Just had to do pure data entry for the first time pretty much ever and I nearly fell asleep at my desk around 15 times!
My hat comes off to anyone who does that as a job full time, you are much more hardcore than I will ever be!🤘
Since it's National Library Week , and today is specifically focused on banned books, here is our library's display on them, celebrating our luxury of having access to the important literature that has been denied to people by oppressive regimes. #booksky #librarysky

WrestleMania and a takeaway, classic scenes!
Please buy my books so I can afford to get a place of my own and have the space to buy myself a cat!😸
Your path home is blocked by an errant magpie, serving attitude!

Foreboding but pretty spring roundabout🖤🧡
We're clearing out some of the lesser used journals mobile shelving for repairs, guess how many textbooks we found hidden by students amongst the boxes on just a few shelves: 15! #librarysky
Please enjoy some scenes from the Welsh countryside all the way back in 1911 via A Book of The Wye, yet another treasure found on the library shelves. #booksky
Sometimes you are repairing a book and you come across something beyond even your librarian powers.
This book from Venice must have had something stuck in it during the printing since this space of the text is just gone😅
Elaborate bacon sandwiches ftw!
If you have been following the saga of my developing cover designs, I've narrowed it down to these two ideas, with slightly different positionings.
So again, I ask: which of these designs do you like the most for my time-travel action sci-fi comedy romance hybrid six years in the making? #authorsky
Pistachio spread ☺️
I find this review to be highly accurate to my work!😄 If this type of thing sounds up your street, then please check Friends With Death out on Amazon and KU! #booksky #authorsky

Good day everyone, I hope this Tuesday finds your well!
Started my day off with some traditional traffic light crumpets once again!☺️
It was a lot harder for me to pick my #MonochromeMonday this week since I have been posting so many selfies recently, stacks of them some might say!😅
The blossoms may be falling, but they are still pretty as heck!🌸
Learning a lot of great life tips from reading Chainsaw Man 😄
I've been informed that some book fans might be excited by seeing this new addition of the special edition of Throne of Glass to the Schools section of the library, so I hope you are indeed thrilled!😄
Some sweet sunset action on the way home from work☺️
Another book that jumped out at me on the shelves was this German bible from 1866. Not only is it 160 years old, with gold on the pages & an exquisite cover design. Plus it has a dedication from April 1875 & I always love a book with a note from the past, little piece of history right here! #booksky
I'm glad! Some students and professors here might disagree!😅
Unrelated librarian question, not in regards to any kind of trend I've been noticing at all:
If you had an overdue book (because someone else has requested it) but knew you wouldn't be fined, would you bring it back? In a timely fashion even?
