The paperwork behind Trump’s White House ballroom has sparked an uproar for shielding the identities of donors and blocking congressional scrutiny.

1. The central claim in the indictment of SPLC is a lie.
The DOJ/FBI accuse SPLC of lying to donors about seeking to “dismantle” extremist groups while secretly funding them. But the funds were used to infiltrate & help law enforcement dismantle these groups. Kash Patel knows this is the truth…
The lack of counter-argument (despite high engagement) to this piece is something one should consider in their priors when evaluating whether I might be right or not.
As part of the restoration of the rule of law, every lawyer in the Trump admin who touched this file needs to go to jail.
Sanctions and disbarment are what you do for private abuses of the legal system. Abusing the government power of criminal indictment is another matter, and they keep doing it.

Vivek has blown through $20M—including millions on TV—with nothing to show for it as Ohioans continue to reject his scams.
Now in full panic mode he’s about to burn through a lot more.

No one will ever trust us again. In time of crisis, we will have no one who to whom we can turn, no one who will stand by our side. Day-in and day-out this administration betrays our allies and enables our enemies. It is perverse and nauseating.
The Justice Dept’s theory of the case— that the group that single-handedly disassembled the Ku Klux Klan defrauded its donors by concealing that it was using paid informant to do that work and more— has about as much merit as the now-dismissed charges against Jim Comey.
The Ethicist | I am a White House official who is being blackmailed by my mistress. Would it be better to ask ICE to deport her or to do some insider trading on crude futures to get the money to pay her off?

If not for Trump, what's the emoluments clause for? What's impeachment for? What's the 25th Amendment for? What's section 3 of the 14th Amendment for? What are checks and balances for?
The baddies are cherrypicking the Constitution the same way they do the bible: for their own benefit.
Flu spreads efficiently especially in close quarters like military troop lodging facilities. If you are in the military you are required to get several vaccines because of how devastating outbreaks can be to troops and also because they are more likely be targeted by agents of biological warfare.
Republicans have stopped regular committee hearings. And, instead are holding roundtables where official motions (like contempt) cannot be made. And they control the committee and the chamber. (2/3)

There's plenty of proof--his social media post about wiping Iran off the map was in itself a war crime. But in any case, you need to start a case to determine if someone is guilty and nobody is doing that.
UPDATE: DOJ still going after this lawyer at 9th Circuit, seeking almost $6000 in legal fees from him over representation he performed pro bono.
That's my point--Trump is committing war crimes and the rest of the world is making no attempt to hold him accountable.
They appeased him all along, and now he's progressed to this. They are failing as much as we are.
We asked people who lived in homeless encampments that were cleared out in city “sweeps” to write about what object was the hardest for them to lose.
“They took my baby pictures and my moms obituaries,” a man in California wrote.

Why not Trump too?
Tesla saved $400 million on its federal taxes by shifting billions of its U.S. profits to countries with lower tax rates.
Yes: While you paid your taxes in full, giant corporations maneuvered to pay as little as possible — and it’s all perfectly legal for them.
The system is rigged.
