It hasn't gotten any easier for trans people in the past year. From pointless regulations for things that never happened to gov't using constitutional clauses to legislate discrimination, hysterical transphobia makes it harder than ever to be visible.

N.B. maximum price of gas a year ago, just before the carbon tax repeal: $1.64 per litre. After the repeal: $1.44. At start of January 2026: $1.33. Now: $1.82.
I take your point, but the media has been all over this for literally a month. Anyone paying any attention at all knew this was coming. Will it hit different now that it’s “official”? Perhaps?
I'd disagree. The poll is prior to the *budget,* but *after* Legacy released the $1.3 billion deficit projection and "Difficult Decisions" documents on Feb 17.

NB Premier Holt breaks her balanced budget pledge with a $1.39B deficit. Cuts are mild (1,400 jobs, frozen grants, 10 heritage sites). As healthcare surges & border tolls loom, critics slam the $6B debt hike as a 'dereliction of duty.'

The methodology is right there above; it explicitly contradicts your statement. But, as usual you’re just here to be a pain in the butt like the rest of your posts. Go bother someone else.
Thanks so much for taking the time to provide that much needed clarification!
I really don't mind the time change,... but if I had to choose, I think I'd prefer to stay on Daylight Savings Time.
According to an Angus Reid poll released today:
- 56% of New Brunswickers favour staying on Daylight Savings Time (more light at night).
- 30% prefer more light in morning (Standard Time).
- Only 14% in favour of want the current system of spring forward/fall back.
