15500 & 15520 kHz: Radio Exterior de Espana sigining-on with lots of QRM on both freqs. 15515 has FEBC in Chinese, while 15505 had something until 1357z, w/ another carrier popping up a minute later!

I couldn't upload it earlier but this 22m band scan at 0748z almost saw Voice of Turkiye Turkiyish to Europe finally find its way to 13635 kHz... except both 13635 and suspected Azeri on 13685 went off abruptly! #shortwave #A26

BTW if I recall correctly, this is the 1st Vatican special in Arabic on #shortwave since first missed on Christmas 2024!

But this time it involves 15595 & 17790 kHz, which are set for Oriental liturgies - in Amharic, Azeri, or russian - every Sunday!

Will it stick? We'll see next Sunday - Easter 🐰

17810 kHz: just caught BBC WS running a bit overtime, w/full news flash in English. Schedule is 0430-0530z Pashto/Dari, 0700-0730z Arabic, 0830-1130z more Pashto/Dari, all via A'Seela🇴🇲. Arabic is to Sudan, although may be on the same feed as 639 & 720 kHz from Cyprus, if on this time #shortwave #A26

HFCC says Voice of Turkiye would, for the 1st time in years, change its summer daytime freq for Turkiyish to Europe from 13635 to 15365

However, both are MISSING, and so is winter 15350

Instead, I find UNSCHEDULED German w/ mailbox px on 17780 - which had Swahili 07-08z in B25!

11725 kHz: RNZ Pacific on its signature freq, talking about... radio. With a historical recording, and a choir singing an anthem of sorts. A major anniversary? The only close accurate date I see in Wikipedia is Apr 1 1975, when RNZ National's Morning Report was first aired 🙄 Weak. #shortwave #A26
