Das Mittelalter-Kolloquium an der TU Darmstadt war einer der ersten Orte, an denen ich vor langer Zeit die Idee für meine Habil vorstellen und diskutieren durfte. Wie schön, dass ich jetzt, kurz vor Abschluss der Arbeit, noch einmal da sein darf. 🙂 Morgen um 16.15 Uhr geht's los.

2/2 werden kann, ist mir schleierhaft. Und die Studien dazu, dass die genannten Themen "nur bedingt etwas mit Demokratiebildung" zu tun hätten, möchte ich sehr gerne lesen.

1/2 Dann muss ich wohl zugeben, die Fragen und ihren Zusammenhang mit der Petition nicht zu verstehen. Natürlich kann und sollte man über Lehrpläne und Formen der Geschichtsvermittlung diskutieren. Wie daraus aber ein Argument für die ersatzlose Streichung von Unterrichtsstunden

Der Ist-Zustand ist, dass viele junge Deutsche kaum noch was über den Holocaust und über die deutsche Kolonialgeschichte wissen. Wohin das führt, erklärt die Petition sehr gut und können wir ja seit Jahren in Echtzeit beobachten. Ersetzt werden soll die gestrichene Stunde übrigens durch gar nichts.

Ja, ich hab mich auch sehr gefreut, in der Liste der Mitzeichnenden ganz viele Namen unserer Studis zu sehen. 😀
