Watercolour and faded ink are painted across a worn papyrus. Draped over an unseen figure are water-soaked robes, a wide-brimmed hoiche, and a tallit embroidered with the annals of Qud. Rainwater collects upon the brim of the figure's hoiche, spilling over into the ground beneath them. Below this figure, text is inscribed in an old tongue: "From thine heres shaken the wet and olde lif Into a small vessel pouren hit To thin sash attachen the vessel Crossen nou thrugh the heigh hate and in-to Brightsheol"
Rainwater Shomer.
