It's my birthday today, so I drew my new all-time favorite, Osanai!
Metatron, once a popular if shallow history youtuber, currently an alt right grifter.
Metatron's channel these days lol. It was headed this way for a long time but the move to America finally pushed him over the edge i guess.
the reason why the Unification Church wants to build the Korea-Japan Undersea Tunnel so bad is about a Neon Genesis Evangelion-level understanding of the Bible

Roland Emmerich made a completely scientifically accurate movie about this decades ago. Prepare to burn your nearest library.

Like the 6 episodes of Kuma Miko I watched in the Spring of 2016, for eg. (Damn, has it really been that long?)
I still do this fairly regularly. I also occasionally go back and finish some seasonal anime I watched like 5 episodes of a decade ago.

in an alternative Korea (sans the war and the division) the city of Kaesong could've become a historic tourist site not unlike Kyoto. tons great architecture and history in an auspicious area. what little I've had of their cuisine is colorful and refined and many cultural facets are quite photogenic
Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson (1994).
Kojima: I first met Matsuno at the 1998 Tokyo Fantastic International Movie Festival. I was standing in line to see the premiere of Vampires at the Shibuya Parthenon… I was waiting on that spiral staircase there for 8 almost hours. (laughs) Matsuno: That’s right. I never imagined I’d meet you at a place like that! Kojima: We talked movies on that staircase for hours. You said you didn’t mind waiting if it was a movie you really wanted to see. I guessed then, that here’s a guy with the same DNA as me. (laughs) (Translation by Shmuplations)
Hideo Kojima and Yasumi Matsuno (FF Tactics, Tactics Ogre, Vagrant Story) first met while waiting in a long line to see John Carpenter's Vampires on opening night.
Moles on holiday
I don't mind it, but Bluesky keeps filling my feed with posts in a random language every week. This week it's Turkish.
