it works the same, i think its used so much more for ebikes bc its a pain in the ass to change a tube on a ebike with a hub motor. it also adds a little weight. i'd run it in my gravel/touring bike tires but i only really use them on trails where flats are less likely

i got sick of this and put some flat out in all of our ebike tubes. since then, had one flat in about 7000 miles of riding on baltimore streets. it actually didnt go completely flat, since the sealant worked. i put some more air in it, no issues for another ~2k miles so far. highly recommended.
