No. It’s quite a stretch to say that just because the religious folk think something is right or wrong that others who also think it’s right or wrong only feel that way because of religion. There are countries with little to no religion who also know right from wrong.

A man can even tell a cop he told a woman he was going to kill her and the children and that was his intention when he broke the window to get into the house and not only will he still be running around free, he will retain visiting rights.

Never heard of consciousness raising? It’s how I raised my children. They don’t know religion and they are helpers in the world.

I grew up in a Swedish neighborhood and went to the Swedish Lutheran church. I was told I was mostly Swedish with a bit of Irish thrown in. We celebrated Santa Lucia and all. Grew up, did my DNA. A sliver of Swedish and Irish but mostly Scottish and Norwegian 😂🤣

I get it, believe me! I picked my son up from his Marine boot camp ceremony and drove halfway across the country to visit with my daughter who had just returned from Iraq with the 101st and went home with my first tattoo. That wasn’t the plan!

One of my father’s special interests was inventors and explorers. He was constantly reading about them and then telling me their stories. I’m 66 and we didn’t have autism or ADHD diagnosis back then but he knew he and I were not average and wanted me to have a positive attitude about myself.
