Had the thought to up my chrome texture game in Live2D and now I am GRIPPED by the urge to make a Golden Frieza model to practice on. Might also be a good opportunity to learn vbridger since he's an extremely clean design with no hair to rig... Hmmm... 🤔
I've found that the best way is to draw or reference images of the head in those corner angles and just try to match them as close as you can in Live2D. Here's a pretty good chart to keep close at hand while practicing

No one tells you this when you start doing art, but at some point you're going to have to draw bare feet just good enough that it doesn't look funky, but not so good that people start to wonder what you're into. That line is blurrier than you'd expect.
Istg there is nothing more frustrating than trying to find useable reference images in the midst of the AI Slopocalypse. 😩

Looking good! For the eyelash, you may need to give it a much denser mesh to deform more smoothly. I usually go into mesh edit for spots like that and build up the mesh by hand rather than trust automesh.
I really hope it doesn't take too long to fix the projector... But I REALLY hope I don't have to sit through another 20 minutes of ads

I bought it years ago so I don't think they even sell it anymore, but I found a similar one by the same brand that's probably got a higher recording quality anyway

In my experience you don't need anything fancy. I use a pretty cheap webcam with a built in mini ring light and it works just fine. As long as it's a light illuminating your face from directly in front to minimize shadows, it'll work. Focus on finding one that fits nicely in your current setup.
There are a ton of great tutorials on YouTube for everything to do with Live2D. The ones I learned from primarily are by Merely.wufeii, Kira Omori, and YoshinoArt. Learning how to rig is honestly one of the best ways to learn how you want to draw the model to begin with. Good luck and have fun!

Istg, there is no compliment more flattering to me as a Live2D rigger than "wait, hang on, is this 2D or 3D?" 😭 💜 That uncertainty means I'm definitely doing something right!

Head fully done, body work just roughed out to test the movement. Still have the textures and detailed perspective work to do, but I already love how expressive it is so far 💜

I had this exact problem with mine, and I wish I could tell you exactly how I fixed it... But I honestly don't know what I did lol try playing around with the opacity and draw order of the relevant layers. I think I did something with those settings that made that line go away. Best of luck
