A new two-story Earl of Sandwich is currently being built at the opposite end of Downtown Disney. The restaurant will also have a new gastropub Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby. An opening date has not been announced yet.
The Earl of Sandwich on the east side of Downtown Disney District will permanently close after business today. The closure will allow for construction to begin on the upcoming Porto's Bakery.
The pop-up Earl’s location near Star Wars Trading Post will remain open.
NEW: Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT will be closed Nov. 10-13 and will reopen with enhanced digital visuals and clearer imagery in 2D. No more 3D.
New props and lightning will be added to queue and attraction over the coming months.
NEW: A new miniature of Rapunzel’s Tower from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Tangled is coming to Storybook Land Canal Boats at Disneyland Park. The ride is currently closed for refurb and reopens this winter.
NEW: Disney says 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' will return on Tuesday following "thoughtful conversations with Jimmy" over the past few days.
NEW: The last day to ride DINOSAUR at Disney’s Animal Kingdom before it goes extinct is February 1, 2026.
Starting Feb. 2, DINOSAUR, Restaurantosaurus, and all of DinoLand will be officially closed to make way for Tropical Americas.

NEW: Disney shared first look inside The Beak & Barrel at Magic Kingdom.
NEW: Starting Jan. 5, the Pixar Place Hotel entrance to Disney California Adventure Park will close with no plans to reopen, Disneyland officials confirmed.
Pixar Place Hotel guests will instead be able to enter DCA through the Grand Californian Hotel entrance.
The one Lightning Lane entry will be available to each guest on the reservation with valid park admission and a park reservation. Limit one per guest, per stay. DVC reservations do qualify. Good Neighbor Hotel bookings do not qualify.
NEW: Starting Jan. 5, all guests staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel will receive one complimentary Lightning Lane entry for a Multi Pass attraction of their choice.
Also NEW: Beginning Jan. 5, Disneyland Resort will end the Early Theme Park Entry program.
NEW: Imagine and Enchant Key passes are going on sale Aug. 26, no earlier than 9:00 AM PT.
NEW: Disneyland Resort vacation packages and hotel reservations for 2026 will be available to book starting tomorrow, Aug. 20. Valid for arrivals Jan. 1 - Dec. 31, 2026.
NEW: Effective today, Oga's Cantina at Disneyland Park only offers walk-up availability with a traditional standby queue and no longer offers new reservations. Existing reservations will be honored.
The last day to see Paint the Night at Disneyland in 2025 is Sunday, Nov. 9. The parade will pause for the holidays starting Nov. 10 and resume again next year.
NEW: The Beak and Barrel reservations will launch on Wednesday, Aug. 20 at 7 p.m. ET.
NEW: Disneyland shared a first look at Syndrome. He will debut for the first time at Oogie Boogie Bash on select nights from August 17 through October 31. You can catch him at his own dedicated trail near Pixar Pier Band Shell.
NEW: Starting Sept. 11, "The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure" at DHS will be available as a Lightning Lane option. When booking, it will be available in the second group of attractions. Guests will see the show available as early as Aug. 20 for use starting Sept. 11.

NEW: Disney Cruise Line has revealed a new look at Spider-Man and his Spider-Bots on the stern of the Disney Destiny. The characters were installed earlier this week by the team at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany.
The music from "Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away" is set to be released in the US tomorrow on streaming platforms. The 19-minute album features 11 tracks, including music from the floats, the Starlight Anthem, and the closing song.
NEW: Test Track will soft open to all guests on Sunday, July 20 and Monday, July 21. The ride officially opens on Tuesday, July 22.
NEW: "Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away" will have a soft open performance TONIGHT at 9pm at Magic Kingdom. The parade will make its official debut on July 20.
NEW: Disney CEO Bob Iger will ring the NYSE opening bell live from Disneyland Resort on Thursday morning in celebration of Disneyland’s 70th anniversary. Opening bell is 930am ET.
NEW: Music from the “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” parade will be released on streaming platforms soon, though no exact release date has been announced. The new nighttime parade debuts at Magic Kingdom on July 20.
