#Georgia has received many recommendations by states like Romania and Mongolia on promoting the participation of women in all aspects of life. The delegation has answered with data evidencing 49% of managerial positions in the public service are currently filled by women.

States like Malawi and Qatar have recommended #Georgia to promote the rights of persons with disabilities by ensuring access to inclusive education, protection and access to the digital space, and strengthening national awareness campaigns to end hate towards them.

Albania, Moldova and Sweden have implored #Georgia to ensure a reform of the judiciary that ensures its independence, transparency and impartiality.

#Georgia has received recommendations by states like Uruguay and Norway on enhancing access to sexual and reproductive health services, and ensuring the protection of the LGBTQ+ community against discrimination and hate speech.

States like Rwanda and Spain have made recommendations to #Georgia to step up efforts to combat all forms of violence affecting both women and girls, including enhancing their protection, guaranteeing access to free legal aid, and ensuring victims receive reparations.

#Georgia also mentioned mentioned it has the lowest level of corruption in the region, and the highest economic growth, as well as advances on prison reforms and access to free legal aid for victims of gender-based violence.

In its opening statement, #Georgia spoke about their good practices, including regular national reports, open invitation to mandate holders during reporting periods, and dating as first according to international insights in terms of budgetary transparency.

#Oman has received recommendations by states like Ireland, Brazil and Canada on guaranteeing freedom of expression for all, as well as a safe and enabling environment for the media, by amending the legislation.

States like Eritrea and Armenia have made recommendations to #Oman to continue efforts to align its national framework with international standards on climate adaptation, by integrating climate resilience policies and strategies into its national legislation.

Human trafficking has been mentioned in several recommendations made to #Oman. States like Belarus and Botswana have asked that efforts of prevention and combating are enhanced, specially regarding trafficking of women and girls.

Many recommendations have been made on the participation of women in the public and private spheres. #Oman has responded showing its aligned view with such recommendations, adding data on female posts in government.

#Oman has received recommendations on promote universal access to healthcare and education services, specially persons with disabilities and persons in rural or vulnerable areas. Amongst others, Vietnam and China have also mentioned increasing social protection programmes.

Most of the states present, such as Uruguay and Dominican Republic have made recommendations to #Oman to establish a moratorium on the death penalty with the intention of abolishing it in the future.

In its opening statement, #Oman has mentioned advances in its legislation, including a comprehensive framework ensuring universal access to health, prevention, and awareness training. Also legislation on free and compulsory education free of all forms of discrimination.
