As smug as smug can be. And seems to be a jerk as well.

Prohibition didn't "fix" anything, in fact it made things worse.

No offense to anyone and this was yet another tragedy, but a camera at that and other intersections would help catch those who flee from the scene.

Just home from seeing Project Hail Mary. If I could I'd give it an 11 out of 10, it's that good IMO.

I didn't vote today - I voted several weeks ago via a drop off box. If YOU didn't vote - why not?

Both my brother and I had student deferments (2S), this was before the lottery #s. Both he and I had our classification changed to 1A during the Vietnam buildup. We both wound up in Vietnam and made it home. Why didn't DJT have his 2S changed to 1A too I wonder, bone spurs or no bone spurs?

A bit bummed by the no bats, after all Chicago was once Gotham City ala Christopher Nolan. But the pitchforks and torches - priceless.

Were there bats in the movie?

Amid all the recent turmoil, wife and I watched To Kill a Mockingbird last night. I still choke up when Scout finds Boo behind the bedroom door. This movie is very high on my favorites list and I remember when I first saw it in 1962, in what theater. www.cinematreasures.org/theaters/4541

I remember those rocket launchers from my Indo China days. Makes your ears ring after they go BOOM. Mine still do.

Still waitin' for Divvy to offer a senior discount for annual membership. They are the ONLY Chicagoland transportation provider that does NOT offer this. CTA, Metra, Pace all offer senior discounts, Divvy does NOT. Embarrassing to say the least, and I've let them know it.

Can we tack on to the bottom of the constitution - morons and convicted felons cannot be a POTUS.

It ain't too people friendly by design me thinks. Said another way - I don't like it, but YMMV.

Many live in it continually. Rumor has it that it follows politicians of a certain ilk.

There was a bunch of these guys nesting by the Lincoln Statue in the backyard of the Chicago History Museum a few years back. They've since moved on to other places.
