Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City is only streaming on STARZ… and I just find that amusing.
Yeah… it was clearly a reference to Mario Kart’s Rainbow Road!
No one asked but I had already taken the screenshots and made the graphic! Cleavis is played by Michael Ian Black - who also portrayed Aquaman on MTVs The State (bonus Ken Marino as Superman).
If I was having a hot dog eating contest with my friends, as much as I’d love to be friends with Bigfoot, you have to assume Bigfoot is going to win.
Oh no! Did something happen to Bigfoot?!
The Pan Am building (which is currently the MetLife building IRL) featured in Fantastic Four is Stark/Avengers Tower in the mainline MCU.
The pundit interviewing Lex Luthor in the new Superman movie is actually… Aquaman! My theory is he became a television host after quitting the Super Friends for being made fun of.

Besides that guy Logan at my local ihop, yeah
He’s in the trailer… and it’s Anthony Carrigan (Barry). Pretty excited haha.
Now I’m envisioning Chris Parnell as Red Tornado.
Was this just a coincidence?
…And the I suddenly remembered Alan Scott, Jack Knight, and Batman talking about Woody Allen movies (though no claims about all time favorites are made).
It will be interesting to see if retailers start calling out the tariff price on goods. Like have msrp then a big red +$x.xx so you can literally see how you’re getting boned by this administration.
Often it’s more about safely detonating rather than defusal.
Bear is fighting car? How can that be?

Speaking of rare and Nintendo Store, I am surprised I never seem to see etched DS consoles around NYC. The store used to have a service where they would laser your DS for $20.
He came out to the NYC Nintendo Store in 2005 and did a signing. I was the first person in line to NOT get in. They gave out stickers with his signature to put on your DS and a print of a drawing he did of Mario to people in line. I still see stuff from this event around the city from time to time.
I tracked down a copy of Secret of Mother 2! I couldn’t find any pics or info of what was on the poster. One side is the photo from the cover, the other is notes. Lots of stuff inside I hadn’t seen before. My favorite might be this postcard that has a Picross of a Mr Saturn on the back.
This is fascinating. I have seen poster and comic book restoration and this just feels very related. I wonder if people are using a heat press on instructions like folks do for comics?
Here’s a poster restoration vid: youtu.be/hnIWubWYnfY?...
