It illustrates the importance of accurate and descriptive text when describing a photo.
Thank you for pointing that out!

A cluster of bats hanging from a cave roof
Bat poop on a leg
We went on a tour of the Cayman Crystal Caves, which included a loop through the Bat Cave (not the DC Comics one).
I can attest...it was indeed bat-shit-crazy!
A windy but lucky day today. A 2nd group we were paired with in the glass bottom boat couldn't make it, so we got a private tour, normally a $900US option. Then at the 7 Fathoms Distillery, a group who paid for a food paired tasting cancelled and we got upgraded for free!
A win-win-windy day! 😁
Yeah, its a touch windy.
Enjoying coffee on the shoreline in our loungers
3 small geckos sunning on a rock, surrounded by a sandt beach, a large wave crashing in the background
Ahhhh, it's good to be back!!
9.5 hrs to departure. Grand Cayman, 8 days...fingers crossed no delays like last time!
I think what Americans need to understand is that its not just Trump that is to blame at this point. Its the entire administration, the voters who support him, and those not insisting on his removal for what are already clear violations of their own constitution.
Honestly, they should all go to jail, every single one that supports and promotes the dismantling of the CDC and promoting alternatives that have been disproven over things which have greater benefit than risk.
They are literally killing people and causing increased suffering with their policies.
What are these strange numbers on my phone?!?
Well, it made me laugh.
I wouldn’t say you have zero qualifications. You just don’t fit the profile of a politician, which I would say makes you uniquely qualified to improve the genre.
I’m going to be busy for about two weeks once I’m back from our trip, not to mention my “deal price” more than doubled! 😕
Bought an older pickup truck with the intention of leaving it at the lake, for the purposes of using it to put my pontoon in/out of the water seasonally, garbage runs, and the occasional branch/leaf drops to compost stations. It was a good deal, until I got the deficiency list back for registering!
Kitchen/dining area with people milling about
Media room repurposed to hold 2 large banquet tables, a few people relaxing im the chairs
Another Easter dinner where im reminded how lucky I am to have the family I have, as well as the food to go along with celebrating the occasion! We had 30 of us together this year as a few were traveling,a and a few sadly under the weather.
Great seeing everyone!
Happy Easter to all who celebrate! And to those who don’t, Happy Day! Or feel free to insert whatever salutations is appropriate to you.
The thing about any celebration, we don’t have to share the reason, just recognize that any wish for happiness in itself is a good thing.
It’s a Winnipeg thing.
Today must be the first official day of our spring. I saw my first motorcycle 25 minutes ago. 😳
Maybe so, but if we recognize the dryer gremlins can teleport items to alternate dimensions, it’s not much further a stretch that they can do it outside the drum too when opportunity knocks!
Dryer gremlins are insidious. 🫣
It’s a story about our potential when we work together. THAT is something we need to see, particularly in the face of the consequences when everything we’re fed is about “similar” is greater than those that don’t fit that narrow view.
I suspect the dryer. 😂
You’d probably have issues with mold in top load too if you kept the door closed, although it’s usually not visible as the dampness is below drum level. In both cases, the clothes don’t touch the mold - if they did, there wouldn’t be mold there. Leaving the door slightly open to dry fixed that issue
An addendum is that if any group with a lesser genetic advantage in any particular sporting activity wishes to compete in the more difficult grouping, I’m 100% on board with that.
My opinion is that the only way we should allow trans women into women only sports is if we stop separating sports into “for men/women”.
If we recognize that there’s a genetic advantage in sports, that difference doesn’t change post trans. An alternative could be to create a 3rd competitive group?
YMMV. I loved my old Maytag front load, it lasted over 15 years and used a fraction of the water (and thus, heat energy). The dryer is still going strong at 22+ years. Can’t vouch for the new models though, most EVERY brand of new appliances are garbage.
We still have one of those at our cottage. HATE the new stuff, which is designed to fail and only ever gave the illusion of being cheaper.
There are some serious deficiencies with MAID. As someone who has lived through watching a parent slowly die over an 8 day period, with no chance of survival, I can say from experience that no one should have to live through that. Not the patient, not the family/loved ones. 🙁💔
communication failures too, such as repeated simple and clear explanations to how those reductions impact spread, and thus the controllability and evolutions of the virus, but those are my personal top 3.
Also, failure to emphasize REDUCTION methods (masks, vaccines, et al) do NOT mean immunity. They reduce risks to a factor and extent which makes them FAR SAFER THAN EXPOSURE TO THE VIRUS. Not emphasizing and properly explaining this provided fuel to the anti-vax/mask groups. There were other
Beat me to it! 😂
